Foster Fam Fest
We are looking for very gently used/new clothing, as well as shoes, socks, and underwear (all three new only), in sizes fitting girls and boys from preschool to seniors in high school.
Donations are being gathered from July 6th to July 24th.
There are three drop-off locations during this time frame:
- Wolfgang Studio, 4601 NW Urbandale Ave, Urbandale
- Heartland Christian Counseling, 1701 48th Street, Suite 120, West Des Moines
- Soteria (two large bins in the lobby)
This event is for foster, kinship, and adoptive families in our area.
- Friday, August 7 from 6 to 8 pm
- Saturday, August 8th Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm.
Families can shop the closet, which will be set up in the gym. Kids can enjoy some snacks and fun activities. We are asking families to bring proof of licensing, adoption decree, or placement papers. Everything is free.
