Serving is a tangible way that we demonstrate the love of Christ, both within and outside our church walls.
Whatever your gifts, talents, or abilities, there is a place for you to serve at Soteria!
Hospitality Teams
Our Hospitality Teams help everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
- GREETERS – Always ready with a friendly hello and serve at the front doors and in the Worship Center.
- WELCOME DESK TEAM – Provide information and assistance to guests.
- PARKING LOT TEAM COMING SOON! – Offer a warm welcome while directing traffic smoothly and safely before services.
- AUDITORIUM HOST TEAM – Warmly welcome attendees and guests and assist with any seating needs.
Worship Arts Team
Use your gifts to lead others in worship and support our services behind the scenes.
- AV/SLIDES TEAM – Run audio/visual and slides (training provided)
- WORSHIP TEAM – Vocals or instruments
- SOTERIA CHOIR – Sing with others
- PRODUCTION TEAM – Play a key role in our livestream ministry by running cameras or sound
- PRAYER TEAM – Available after each service to pray with and for our church family
Soteria Kids’ Teams
This vibrant ministry reaches many children each week.
- NURSERY TEAM – Care for the youngest members of our church on Sundays or Wednesdays, complete with plenty of giggles and smiles!
- SOTERIA KIDS’ CLASSES – Serve by teaching, assisting at tables, or helping lead worship on Sunday mornings.
- SOTERIA KIDS’ GREETING TEAM – Help families with check-in and offer a cheerful welcome.
- EVENTS – Each year, our biggest outreach events—Easter Extravaganza and Vacation Bible School—offer opportunities to serve through games, crafts, snacks, teaching, and more.
Soteria Student Ministries
Make a lasting impact by investing in the next generation.
- JR. HIGH SMALL GROUP LEADER – Build relationships and guide students (6th-8th grade) in their faith.
- SR. HIGH SMALL GROUP LEADER – Build relationships and guide students (9th-12th grade) in their faith.
Church Life Teams
Our Church Life Teams help create meaningful connections within our church body.
- CHURCH EVENTS TEAM – Support gatherings like our Fall Kick-Off, Flapjack Fellowship, All-Church BBQ, and Pie & Praise.
- CARE TEAM – Step in to support church members with practical needs such as moving assistance or transportation.
- FUNERAL LUNCH TEAM – Serve lunch for family and friends following a funeral.
- MEALS CARE TEAM – Partner with growth groups to provide meals for new moms and families in need.
Facilities and Ground Teams
Help us care for the space God has given us.
- FACILITIES TEAM – Take care of minor maintenance needs like changing lightbulbs and small repairs.
- MOWING TEAM – Help maintain our church lawn on a rotating schedule.
- LANDSCAPING AND WEEDING TEAM – Keep our grounds clean and inviting.
Missions Teams
Join one of our Missions Teams to be part of how our church reaches beyond our walls to serve others locally and globally.
- OUTREACH TEAM – Leads and supports local missions efforts throughout the year.
- FAM TEAM (Foster and Adoption Ministry) – Help stock and organize our FAM Closet and provide practical support to foster and adoptive families.
- TOGETHER FOR GOOD TEAM – Walk alongside these families through encouragement, care, and community.
- SOTERIA BOOKSTORE – Help provide quality Christian resources to equip and encourage our church family.
